What Is A Circle of Friends*?
A network of support people formed around the person with a disability.
'Circle of Friends' is a wonderful, purposeful mechanism to bring a network of people together in support of the person with a disability. This 'circle' commits to help enrich the life experience of the person and to guide them along a pathway of self discovery and achieving goals.
Diagrams in the page, Your Circle of Friends, will allow you to begin the first steps of identifying persons who support you. The first circle represents intimacy; second is friendship; third relates to participation; and, the fourth circle represents exchange.
